Frank R. Fields went home to be with the Lord September 10, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born January 1, 1929 in Thayer, Missouri.

He was the youngest of eight children. He graduated from Caney High School In 1947, where he was active in basketball, baseball and football. Upon graduation he began his career with Phillips Petroleum. He married Dolores Dodson on April 9, 1950. They moved to Bartlesville in 1954 and together they raised 4 children. Frank retired from Phillips Petroleum in 1985 and moved to Grand Lake where he joined Campers on mission, that lead to travel through the United States helping build Churches and parsonages.

He loved to spend winters in Mission, Texas and summers on Grand Lake, where he had a host of friendships.

Frank married Reta Sanders on August 14, 2003. They made their home on Grand Lake, before moving back to Bartlesville Aug, 2007.

They were members of The Eastern Heights Baptist Church. Frank loved to read his Bible daily and loved to sing Gospel music.

He adored his grandson Troy Ferguson and granddaughter Lindsey Fields.

He treasured his sister Sarah Applegate who visited him daily.

Frank was an avid gardener, fisherman and a pretty good cook. Much to the surprise of his children. Frank was proceeded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 2 sisters and his grandson.

Survived by his wife Reta, Children, Nancy Wake, Linda (Craig) Ferguson, John (Toni) Fields, Janis Dragon and Granddaughter Lindsey (Jeremy) Cosby. Sister Sarah Applegate, Several nieces and nephews. Frank accepted Reta's 7 children, 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; and his extended family.
