Funeral Services for Grover Pigeon will be held on Monday January 12, 2009, in the Euwasha Baptist Church, Kenwood, Oklahoma at 2:00 pm. Viewing will be held on Sunday at Shipman's Funeral Home, Pryor, Oklahoma on from 1 until 8 pm.

The son of Willie Pigeon & Nancy (Raincrow) Pigeon. Grover was born on June 8, 1931. He passed away on January 9, 2009 at the age of 77 years. He was a lifetime resident of the Salina area. Grover served in the U.S. Army during the Korea Conflict. He was a plumber & well pump serviceman by trade. He was married to Nina Mae Johnson in 1956. She preceded him in death in 1989. His hobbies included hunting, fishing& gardening, he was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include 3-sons: Ricky & Debbie Pigeon of Salina, Ok., Joseph &Tammy Pigeon & Jay and Nysa Pigeon All of Kenwood, Ok. 2 - Daughters: Roseanna & Ricky Littledave & Barbara & Tony Hopton all of Salina, Oklahoma, 9 - Grandchildren, 5 -Great- Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death also by : 3 - brothers; Charlie Backward, Ryder Squirrel & Raymond Squirrel, 3 sisters: Irene Wickliffe, Louise Dry, & Lou Ann Kingfisher, and his parents.
