Jackson Nofire was born February 8, 1947 in Nicut , Oklahoma to Robert, Sr and Euna Bell (Coleman) Nofire. He departed this life on November 17, 2009 at the age of 62 years 9 months and 9 days.

Jackson had lived in Kenwood for about the last 33 years. He was an auto mechanic, but also had worked as a welder and a laborer. He was a member of Euwasha Baptist Church . Jackson enjoyed fishing and working on cars. He liked to spend time outdoors, being around family and friends and going to yard sales and flea markets. Jackson always enjoyed watching his favorite team, OU, play football.

He is survived by companion Peggy Wagnon of the home, children Daniel and Alice Nofire of Jay, Jacqueline Norfire of the home, Clayton and Melissa Proctor of Jay, Crystal and Wesley Higgins of Salina, James Proctor of Jay, Michael Billey of Vinita, Jacki and Jon Sanders of Salina, Billy Vann of Kenwood, grandchildren Marki and husband Josh, Essie, Nevin, Mia, Zaphion, Daysheanna, Xavier, Zarion, Zoey, Emily, Erin, Zeke, Kadah, Destiny, Maxlen, Izabellah, Ella, great grandchildren Tatum, Malachi, Lakota, brothers Robert, Jr. and Thelma Nofire of Twin Oaks, Jerry Nofire of Stilwell, Mose Nofire and Mary of Muldrow, Clayton Nofire of Kansas, sisters Akie Gourd and Key of Tahlequah, Margaret Terrapin of Stilwell, several nieces and nephews including Reah who was very close and helpful to the family, special friends Nathan and Marlena Barnes and the Ball Family of Salina. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers James, Able and Clifton.
