Walter "Levi" King, 85, of Salina, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2009 in Pryor, Oklahoma. Levi was born on October 9, 1924 in Kenwood, Oklahoma, the son of Tom King and Lena (Fodder) King. He worked for the Paul Lowder Farms at Kenwood, Oklahoma until retiring in the 1990's.

Levi enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 13, 2009 in the Euwasha Baptist Church with Reverend Bill Lowder officiating. Interment will be in the Euwasha Cemetery at Kenwood, Oklahoma with Bill Lowder, Andrew Lowder, John Scott, Roger Jumper, Peter Smoke and Aaron Smoke serving as casketbearers. A Wake Service will be held on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Levi is survived by his son, Charles and wife, Betty Ann Smoke of Salina, OK; grandchildren, Michael and Danielle Smoke, Lisa Smith, Aaron Smoke, Jessie and Jeremiah McCarter and Pete and Katie Smoke, all of Kenwood, Oklahoma. 13 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Lena King; three sisters, Julie Scott, Susie Muskrat and Anna King.
