Tyler Craig Mitchell was born on August 3, 1992, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Stacey Michelle (Jones) Smith and Craig Dewayne Mitchell. He passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, in Grove, Oklahoma, at the age of 32 years, 6 months, and 5 days.
Tyler was raised in the Kansas, Oklahoma, area where he graduated from Kansas High School with the Class of 2010. A dedicated and hardworking person, he began his working career with Mitchell’s Excavation and Construction before joining All Terrain Land Improvements in Gravette, Arkansas, in September 2024. Above all, Tyler took great pride in providing for his two beloved children, Jaxon Lane and Paisley Gene.
As a lover of the outdoors, Tyler found joy in hunting ducks, fishing, and being surrounded by nature. He had a sharp mind for anything construction- or motor-related and loved working with his hands. His outgoing personality made him easy to be around, and he cherished time spent with family and friends. Tyler’s playful spirit never faded—he never walked away from a NERF gun war, proving that he was a kid at heart.
Tyler will be remembered for his determination, intelligence, and go-getter attitude. When he set his mind to something, he saw it through. He was deeply loved by those who knew him and will be profoundly missed.
