Elsie Alice Horrell Patton was born July 8, 1908 in Leedey, Oklahoma to Samuel and Della McKay Horrell. She went to be with her Lord on February 20, 2007 at the age of 98.

Elsie lived in the Leedey area during her youth and attended the Canadian School.

On April 2, 1932 Eslie was united in marriage to Lee Otis Patton. Their marriage was blessed with the birth of four children, Darrel, Jimmy Neal, Don and Della Fern.

They made their home in the Leedey-Moorewood area.

Elsie was a long time and faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Leedey.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchild.

Elsie is preceded in death by her husband, Otis; her parents, Samuel and Della Horrell; her children, Darrel and Della; and four brothers and four sisters.

Those remaining are her sons, Jimmy Neal Patton and wife Doris;Don Patton; nine grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; twenty-five great great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews; and a multitude of friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, February 23, 2007 in the First Baptist Church of Leedey, Oklahoma with Pastor Tim Franks officiating.

Interment followed in Moorewood Cemetery, Leedey, Services arranged by Shaw Funeral Home of Leedey.
