Martha Anna Nunn
(May 30, 1915 - November 29, 2009)

Funeral services for Martha Anna Nunn of Eagle City, OK will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Eagle City Christian Church with Reverend Jeff Liles officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery near Fay, OK under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, OK. Martha was born May 30, 1915 north of Fay, OK in Dewey County the sixth of twelve children to Charles and Alsina (Kruse) Humphreys. She departed this life on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at Oklahoma City, OK. at the age of 94 years and 6 months. Martha attended Harvard School, a small country school located north of Fay in Blaine County. She married Lester Nunn on October 24, 1935 at Watonga, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lester Nunn on June 19, 1987; two great-great-grandchildren; five brothers and six sisters; Survivors include four children, son Theron Nunn and wife Carole of Watonga, OK, daughter Nola Davis and husband Rodney of Canton, OK, son Leon Nunn and wife Lyn of Thomas, OK and daughter Coleta Stark and husband Sandy of Weatherford, OK; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society with the funeral home acting as custodian at P.O.
