Arthur M. Adams, 86, 1606 W. Cherokee, died Sunday in a local hospital. A private graveside service was conducted at 2:30 PM Tuesday in the Clinton Municipal Cemetery at Clinton. Jerry Barker officiated with burial under direction of Fossett Funeral Home.
Survivor include his wife, Lucille; three sons, Hurl Adams, Sherman, Texas, Jack Adams and Del Payton, both of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Frances Wright, Enid; two brothers, Omer, Clinton, and Sam, Haileyville; seven grandchildren; and four great – grandchildren.
