Funeral services for Mary Eda Neal were held 11 a.m. Friday, February 12, 2016 in the Drumright First United Methodist Church. Interment followed in the Drumright Oak Hill Cemetery. Mary Eda Neal, known to most as Edie, was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma on July 7, 1917 to the late Arthur W. Vallier & Elsie (Turley) Vallier. She passed from this life in the Drumright Nursing Home on February 9, 2016 at the age of 98 years, 7 months, & 2 days. Edie was raised in Anadarko, where she graduated high school. She then enrolled at the University of Oklahoma where she pledged Alpha Chi Omega. She married Alvin Neal in Anadarko on her 22nd birthday, July 7, 1939. They moved from Temple, Texas to Drumright in 1975. Edie was a nationally acclaimed master china painter & held seminars throughout the United Sates. She held memberships in Tulsa Porcelain Artists Society, International Porcelain Artist Teachers, and was a longtime member of the Drumright First United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband in 1990 and a BROTHER: Arthur Vallier.

Her remaining family includes nieces & cousins.
