Alice Rosa Rooks was born the 5th child of 8 to Stanley S. McElrath & Rosa (Berry) McElrath in Vian, Oklahoma on May 2, 1923. She passed from this life in the Drumright Nursing Home on December 11, 2015 at the age of 92 years, 7 months, & 9 days. Alice married Harvey V. Rooks on June 15, 1946 & they made their home in Kermit, Texas for many years where Alice had worked as a social worker in Senior Services for Winkler County until her retirement. After retirement, they moved to Tulsa, then to Drumright in the early 1990's where they remained. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 1996 & Kenneth Rooks.
