Funeral services for Mannford resident, Robert “Bob” Bozworth, were held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in the Drumright River of Life Christian Center. Interment followed in the Drumright Oak Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael's Funeral Home of Drumright. Robert Charles “Bob” Bozworth was born in Hennessey, Oklahoma on September 11, 1939 to the late Odie Bozworth & Elizabeth (Gunter) Bozworth. He passed from this life at his residence on October 2, 2015 at the age of 76 years & 20 days. Bob lived in Hennessey until age 9 when his family moved to Bristow. At age 15, they moved to Olive where he graduated with the class of 1957. On September 27, 1957 he married Zora Mae Smith in Oilton & they made their home in Drumright. They moved to Mannford in the 1990's, where they remained. Bob had worked as a welder & a welding inspector in steel fabrication. He was owner/operator of Precision Piping until his retirement in 2008 & was a member of the American Welding Society. He enjoyed gardening & outdoor activities, but none more precious than spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 BROTHERS: Bill Bozworth & Odie Bozworth.
His remaining family includes his WIFE: Zora Bozworth; CHILDREN: Kathy & Mike Caruthers of Mannford – Robert & Sharron Bozworth of Drumright; GRANDCHILDREN: Patci & Robert Davenport – Beth & Brandon Richards – Julie & Jessie Williams – Robert Bozworth III – Mike & Kindra Caruthers – Jodie & Mark Mendoza; Great GRANDCHILDREN: Brendeyn Davenport – Mariah Richards – Quinten Davenport – Gavin Richards – Brianna Caruthers – Jayden Caruthers – Noah Mendoza – Haylie Williams – Alyssa Caruthers – Luke Williams – Gunner Bozworth – Madilynn Mendoza – Kaiden Bozworth; BROTHER: Willy & Mary Bozworth of Tulsa; SISTER-In-Law: Betty Gabbard of Oregon; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
