MacKenzie Lynn Grigsby, born on December 3, 2008, in Cushing, Oklahoma, passed from this life on June 26, 2026, at the tender age of 17. She was the beloved daughter of Carolyn Ulmer and Travis Grigsby, and from the moment she arrived, she brought light, laughter, and vibrant energy to everyone around her.

MacKenzie had a creative soul and a joyful spirit. She loved listening to music, doing her makeup, taking selfies, swimming, and making crafts, always finding ways to express herself and bring color into her world. She enjoyed going doordashing, turning even simple moments into memories filled with fun and adventure.

In her earlier years, MacKenzie was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, where she attended Sabbath School and learned the values of faith, kindness, and community.

MacKenzie is survived by her mother, Carolyn Ulmer, her father, Travis Grigsby, and her four siblings: Dylan Durham, Jaclyn Dunn, Blake Grigsby, and Skylar Grigsby; grandparents, Louisa Scott, Alice Scott, and Joe Grigsby. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Lloyd Scott. She leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her laughter, her creativity, and the beautiful imprint she made on their hearts.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00AM, Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the Bristow First Baptist Church with interment to follow at Magnolia Memorial Gardens. Lunch will be served after the funeral at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. The family is requesting that everyone wear pink in honor of MacKenzie.
