Funeral services for Stillwater resident, Kathy Gibson, will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2015 in the Oilton First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery at Oilton, OK. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael's Funeral Home of Drumright. Kathryn Elizabeth Gibson was born in Drumright, Oklahoma on September 28, 1970 to Leon Dennis & Barbara (Hope) Dennis. She passed from this life suddenly in Zion, Illinois on October 24, 2015 at the age of 45 years & 26 days. Kathy was raised & educated in Oilton & was a 1988 graduate of Oilton High School. She went on to college at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami. She married Shawn Gibson on June 29, 1998 & to this union was born a daughter. They had made their home in Stillwater for the past several years.

Her remaining family includes her loving HUSBAND: Shawn Gibson of Stillwater; DAUGHTER: Angelica Marie Gibson; her PARENTS: Leon & Barbara Dennis of Pryor; SISTER & BROTHERS: Melissa Dennis of Pryor – Josh Dennis of Mannford – Daniel Dennis of Pryor; NEPHEWS: Joey Dennis of Oilton – Richard Dennis of Silver City; her FATHER-IN-LAW & MOTHER-IN-LAW: Joe & Teresa Gibson of Drumright; & numerous other relatives & friends.
