James Edward Bowen

Buried: Drumright South Cemetery






James “Jim” Edward Bowen was born on June 16, 1950 at Bend, Oregon. He passed on July 14, 2005 in Drumright, Oklahoma. Jim lived much of his life in North Ft. Myers, Florida, working in the construction business. He owned and operated Bowen Tractor Service prior to moving to Oklahoma where he worked for the City of Cushing.
Jim left behind his wife, Robin Bowen and his daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Chad Trusler.
Jim was most happy caring for his Hereford cattle and Paint horses. After his family, his deep love was his Masonic life. At the time of his death, Jim was serving his second term as the Worshipful Master of the Drumright Masonic Lodge # 468. He is remembered for his loyalty, honesty and sense of humor.
