Coy Upshaw, Jr

Coy Upshaw Jr. was born February 4, 1944, to Coy and Bonnie Lee Upshaw in Bristow, Oklahoma. He departed this life February 3, 2023, at the age of 78.

After graduating high school, Coy served his country in the United States Air Force from 1962 to 1968. On October 14, 1968 Coy was united in marriage to Patricia Ann McIntosh. From this union were born two children, Steven and Diana.

He was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed reading the bible, fishing, and mechanic work. Coy never let the opportunity pass that he didn't witness about the goodness of his Lord and savior.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Upshaw; son, Steven R. Upshaw; daughter, Diana L. Rivera; two sisters, Rita Haynes and Carolyn Hamlin; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dalton Upshaw and sister, Glenda Cheatham.

Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the Bristow City Cemetery.
