Judy Oldham was born November 11, 1945, to Charles Emery and Margaret (Swanner) Rake in Bristow, Oklahoma. She departed this life October 30, 2024, at the age of 78.
She graduated from Bristow High School in 1964. On February 6, 1967, Judy Rake and Carl Oldham were united in marriage. From this union were born three sons. Joe, Brad and Chance Oldham.
Judy spent her early years in Bristow being a mom to 3 young boys, but she really enjoyed working with children. After numerous years of running the city pool, she went back to college and got her teaching degree and taught countless numbers of Pre-K children for many years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and her infectious laugh.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband Carl Oldham, both her father and mother Emery and Margaret Rake, 2 brothers Charles Rake and Doc Rake.
She is survived by Joe and Paige Oldham of Bristow Oklahoma. Chance and Vanessa Oldham of Tulsa Oklahoma, and Brad Oldham of Fredericksburg, Texas. She is also survived by one brother Alan and his wife Kim Rake. Grandchildren Jessie Morgan, Emery Oldham, Izabella Oldham and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Services are scheduled for 10:00AM, Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Howard officiating. Interment will follow at the Bristow City Cemetery.
