Terry Lee Williams of Welch died Monday, May 25, 2009, at St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa after an illness. He was 53.

Mr. Williams was born May 6, 1956, in Miami to Jack and Margaret (Stackhouse) Williams. He lived in the Welch area since 1987 when he moved from Modesto, Calif.

He worked as a carpenter and welder for Cal-Coast Mfg in Turlock, Calif. He was a member of Maybelle Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Misty Dawn Williams; his parents, of the home; two brothers, Donald “Pete” Williams of Modesto and Rick “Bo” Williams of Murphys, Calif., and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Maybelle Baptist Church, east of Welch. The Rev. Lindey Leforce will officiate. Burial will be in Williams Timberhill Cemetery, west of Miami.

Pallbearers will be Joe Smith, Ron Land, Clinton Foster, Bill Newland, V.O. Morgan and Tim Keith.

Arrangements are under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami.
