Sharon Kay Rogers, 63, of Lenapah, Oklahoma, died at 1:11 P.M. on Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Rogers will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Rogers Family Cemetery at Welch, Oklahoma with Pastor Jimmy Harrington of Ridin' for the Brand Cowboy Church at Wann officiating. Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Stumpff-Nowata Funeral Home.The Rogers family will receive guests at the Stumpff-Nowata Funeral on Thursday, from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M.

Mrs. Rogers was born at Nowata, Oklahoma on April 5, 1954 the daughter of Preston Alonzo and Mamie Gladys (Parker) Lakey.She attended schools at South Coffeyville and Lenapah and was married to Dennis Ray Rogers in South Coffeyville on May 21, 1971. They made their home in South Coffeyville until moving to Lenapah where they have continued their home. She had been employed at the WalMart in Nowata, and managed her brother's restaurant, “Better 'n Nothinin” in South Coffeyville for a number of years as well as making wedding cakes and babysitting. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Lenapah.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her husband, Dennis Ray Rogers of the home, one daughter, Michele Barry and husband Steve of Coffeyville, Kansas, one son, Michael Ray Rogers and wife Jamie of Lenapah, one sister, Barbara Jackson of Nowata, one brother, Donald Earl Lakey and wife Susan of South Coffeyville, and three grandchildren, Preston Michael Rogers, Madison Makenzie Rogers and Kailyn Makenna Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Preston Alonzo Lakey, Jackie Lakey and Lonnie Charles Lakey.
