Lessia L. (Fillman) Conner
January 27, 1963 ~ February 1, 2025

Lessia L. (Fillman) Conner, 62-year-old Ketchum resident, passed away on Saturday morning, February 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 27, 1963, in Vinita to Gene Ira Fillman and Charlotte (Banther) Fillman. Lessia attended Vinita schools and later went to work for Home of Hope as a caregiver. She married Eddie Conner on July 1, 1994, in Langley. Lessia was a member of the Ketchum Seventh Day Adventist Church. Lessia loved helping people, she even went and assisted the victims of Hurricane Katrina, she helped with the food distribution at the SDA church and school at Ketchum, made blankets for the children among other things. She adored little children and had a special place for them in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her step-father, Johnny McComb, and a niece, Danielle Bamford.

The family includes her husband, Eddie Conner of the home, parents, Charlotte McComb of Grove, Gene Fillman of Ketchum, children, Wesly Gene Bass of Elgin, Lesslie Dawn Adams of Bartlesville, Kellie Shaffon Stafford of Bartlesville, Ashley Renee Conner of Langley, siblings, Wesley Gene McComb of Grove, Peggy Jean Babcock of Vinita, grandchildren, Zakery, Isaiah, CJ, Addison, Alex, Devin, Chance, Trystin, Emily, Joslynn, and Allison, mother and father in law, Richard and Connie Conner of Strang, numerous other relatives and friends.

Friends may make preferred memorials to the family of Lessia Conner.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel in Vinita.

The celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ketchum Seventh Day Adventist Church, Pastor Chris Knotts officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita. Online condolences may be made at www.highsmithfh.com or on the funeral home Facebook page. Arrangements are in the care of the Burckhalter-Highsmith Funeral and Cremation Services of Vinita. ”Vinita’s only locally owned and operated funeral home.”
