"JACK"
April 30, 1934 - June 2, 2004
Visitation for Bobby "Jack" Tabbytosavit will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.) on Monday evening, June 7, 2004 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and funeral services will be held in the Basham Funeral Care Chapel on Tuesday afternoon, June 8, 2004 at 2:00 p.m.
Jack was born April 30, 1934 in Walters, Oklahoma and he passed away on June 2, 2004 in Bakersfield, CA. Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Ida Tabbytosavit and he is survived by his son, Jackie Tabbytosavit, son, Terry Tabbytosavit and daughter, Vikkie Jo Robinson, all of Bakersfield; 9 grandchildren, Amie Yarbrough of Taft, Tara Tabbytosavit, Samantha Tabbytosavit, Matthew Tabbytosavit, Jackie Nicole Tabbytosavit, Dennis Michael Tabbytosavit, Danie Jo Robinson, Stevi Brooke Robinson, Destiny Tabbytosavit, all of Bakersfield and 1 great grandchild, Seth Yarbrough of Taft.
Jack graduated from Comanche High School in Comanche, Oklahoma in May 1952. In 1953, Jack moved to California where he worked as an automobile mechanic. It was only a few years later that he opened his own Union 76 Station on Union Avenue. He also worked for Ingesol-Rand at the Elk Hills Petroleum Reserve. Jack loved to go hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time on the C.B. radio talking with friends, Jack was a loving father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
