Wanda V. Hornbeck Tuck

Funeral for Wanda V. [Hornbeck] Tuck, 81, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church with Randy Robertson, pastor of Anadarko First Baptist Church, officiating.

Mrs. Tuck died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at her home.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under direction of Becker Funeral Home.

She was born Sept. 14, 1920, in Alvord, Texas, to Bill and Mabel Goalden Hornbeck. She married H.F. "Pete" Tuck Jr. on Aug. 10, 1949, in Henrietta, Texas. He died May 21, 2000. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and past president of the Drove No. 52. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Harold C. Johnson and Donnie and Ellie Tuck, all from Lawton; a daughter and son-in-law: Susan and Kim Lanier, Edmond; three sisters: Ruby Cree, Odessa, Texas; Betty Burns, Waurika; and Irene Sanner, Oklahoma City; a brother, Bill Hornbeck, Duncan; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry N. Johnson; two brothers; and four sisters.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lawton Area Inc., 1930 NW Ferris, Lawton 73507, or to the Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund, 715 SW H, Lawton 73501.
