Mildred Jordan Ellis

Funeral for Mildred Jordan Ellis, 79, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. today in Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Linden Riley, Lawton, officiating.

Mrs. Ellis died Tuesday in a local hospital following a brief illness.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

She was born May 29, 1917, in Marlow.

She moved to Lawton at a young age.

She married Andrew "Andy" L. Jordan on May 17, 1934, in Waurika. He died Jan 2, 1957. She married James. R. Ellis on Sept 17, 1957, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons: Donald Andy Jordan, Elk City, and Jimmy Dean Ellis. Lawton; three brothers: Casper Riley, Springtown, Texas; Kenneth Riley, Lawton; and Troy Riley, Medicine Park; and three grandchildren.
