J. P. LAWRENCE IS
DEAD NEAR TINNEY

   J. P. Lawrence died at 11 o'clock Wednesday night at his home a mile east of Tinney in Painter township, aged 72 years. Dr. T. J. Gibson gives senility as the cause of death. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon. Burial in Pecan cemetery. Mr. Lawrence was struck by lightning three years ago but this had nothing to do with his death.

SENILITY BRINGS
DEATH IN PAINTER

   J. P. Lawrence, 73 years of age, died at his home one mile east of Tinney, in Painter township, at eleven o'clock last night, according to information which reached Lawton today.
   Lawrence was struck by lightning about three years ago but Dr. T. J. Gibson, who attended him, says the stroke had nothing to do with the cause of death. Senility, is assigned as the cause.
   The body was buried at the Pecan cemetery at four o'clock this afternoon.
