Michael Edward Stewart II

Michael Edward Stewart II, Lawton, was born December 8, 1989 in Lawton to Michael Edward Stewart, Sr and Deaster [Brown] Stewart. He died peacefully at his home on June 11, 2015 at the age of 25.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 11:00am in the Whinery-Huddleston Chapel.

Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.

Michael grew up in Lawton where he graduated from Eisenhower High School. After graduating high school he attended Cameron University. Michael enjoyed reading, playing video games, playing the trumpet and piano, watching any sport, and playing football. He also enjoyed cooking. Michael had a heart of gold and loved children. He was a member of the Eastside Optimist Club. In 2015, Michael gave his life to Christ. He was a member of Garden of Prayer Church and Outreach Ministry. He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Edward Stewart, Sr and grandmother, Gertrude Stewart.

Survivors include his mother, Deaster Stewart, of the home; brother, Billy Dean Young, Jr of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Grace Elizabeth James and Kymistry Love; uncle, Lee Andrew Brown of Lawton. He also has numerous extended family members and friends.
