Joan [Lowe] Engle

The Good Lord needed another Angel, and on September 18, 2013 at 3:50am He took Joan, age 54, home after a decade of pain and suffering. Joan passed away peacefully at Willow Park Health Care Center in Lawton, OK.

Joan was born in Chippewa Falls, WI on September 15, 1959 to Jean Ann and Lloyd (Curly) Lowe.

Joan was raised in Chippewa Falls where she graduated high school in 1978. She then moved to Lawton, OK where she called home. Joan worked as a cook at HC King Nutrition Center in Lawton until the time of her illness.

Joan enjoyed cooking, watching wildlife, hiking and camping with David. She was also very proud of her two sons, Jon and Chris.

Joan is survived by her soul mate of 30 years, David Zak; her sons, Jon (Christine) of Lawton and Chris (Kelly) Lowe of Springhill, FL; sisters, Sandy (Carl) Holman of Somerset, WI and Debbie (Jack) Henneman and Patty (Mark) Brooks, all of Chippewa Falls, WI; brothers, Tom Lowe of Hayward, WI and John Lowe (her twin) of Chippewa Falls; nieces, Emily Hinz, Angie Henneman, and Jessica Dahlke; nephews, Nick and Shannon Brooks and Joe Henneman; and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Private inurnment.
