Patricia Marie [Grummer] Cochrane

Birth date: February 6, 1954
Death date: February 20, 2015

Mrs. Cochrane was born February 6th, 1954 to Anthony and Lois [Waters] Grummer.

Patty was all about her children and students. Not only was she a good mother, she also spent twenty-nine years in the public school system teaching Special Need students. Although she did obtain her Master's Degree, life to her was about raising and teaching children; it was her passion. Patty loved being a mother, as well as watching after others' children. She was a great friend to many people, as well. A highlight of her career was being given the Distinguished Special Education Teacher Achievement Award.

Patty enjoyed shopping at garage sales, talking with friends, volunteering at her church, playing Bingo and Ping Pong, and laying out by the pool. Her passing is a loss to many.

Patty is survived by her husband, Timothy; son, Ben Cochrane, OKC, OK; four daughters, Michelle and husband, Brandon of Peoria, AZ; Kimberly and husband, Brandon of Bentonville, AR; Tiffany and husband, Brandon of Reno, NV; and Angela Cochrane of Carrollton, TX; mother, Lois Grummer; two sisters, Lois Ann Startz and Teresa Ropp; two brothers, David Grummer and Dennis Grummer; five grandchildren, Hailey, Olivia, and Sadie Wagoner, and Landon and Kamryn Gardner; and ten nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in passing by her father, Anthony Grummer.
