Funeral Service for Trinidad G. Martinez will be 9:30 am, Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Eddie Coast and Hispanic Minister Jose Rodriguez, officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Whinery Huddleston Funeral Service.
Trinidad G. Martinez was born March 16, 1969 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Lydia and Francisco Martinez, Sr. Trini, since a child, was full of life and adventure. She never allowed for anything to stop her in what she wanted So she became Lawtons Latin Queen representing the Hispanic Community in the late 1990s. She met and married her husband Alfredo Martinez and married September 27, 1997. Celebrating 22 years and they together became successful owners of Las Mariposas for well over 10 years. Throughout her life, she met many people and never met a stranger with that welcoming smile of hers. Trini was a compassionate person always willing to help those in need. She loved being around people and making them laugh. She especially loved her family and made sure they knew its important to Love others, be peaceful and most of all, be forgiving! She will be missed by her family and friends that considered her family.
Trini passed away September 27, 2019 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Trini is survived by her husband, Alfredo Martinez of Lawton; her children, Santiago Martinez, Alfredo Miguel Martinez and Omar Martinez, all of Lawton; her mother, Lydia Martinez of Lawton; her father and step mother, Francisco and Rosa Martinez, Sr.; her brothers, Francisco and Debbie Martinez, Jr. and Carlos Martinez, of Lawton; her sisters, Elda and Luis Puente of Lawton and Yolanda Villarreal of Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
