Denise Stevens

Born: July 16, 1959
Died: June 19, 2015

U.S. VeteranSFC (Ret) Denise Stevens was born to parents Willie and Eular on July 16, 1959 in Chicago, IL. Denise was born into eternal life on Friday, June 19, 2015.

A graveside memorial service with full military honors will be held Friday, June 26, 2015 at 10:00am at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.

She grew up as the second eldest of five. She attended Carver High School and in 1976 she enlisted in the U.S. Army and earned her rank as Master Sargent. She then earned her Bachelor's degree at Park University.

Denise lived life on her own terms. She was strong, independent and always looked out for everybody. She will always be the foundation of our togetherness. Denise loved life and lived her life as a social butterfly.

Denise is preceded in death by her mother, Eular and father Willie.

She is survived by sisters, Diane and Deborah; and her brothers, William and Micheal, and several nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed by her family and of all of her friends whose lives she has touched. We love you Denise.
