Funeral for Marjorie Ann Rose, 68, of Lawton, will be at 2 pm, Friday, July 11th, 2014 at the Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma, under the direction of Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service.

She passed away on Saturday, July 5th, 2014.

Marjorie was born on November 20th, 1945, in Lafollette, Tennessee to Robert Emory and Gladys Goins.

Marjorie graduated from Powell Valley High School in Powell, Tennessee and attended business college in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She went to work at various places, including the Daily News newspaper in Middlesboro, Kentucky, Brooks Furnishings in Tazewell, Tennessee and CETA in Lawton. She then became a wonderful housewife and homemaker. She loved cooking and barbecuing, playing the piano, listening to music, and making her friends and family feel loved.

She is survived by her husband, James, of the home, her daughter, Melissa, Lawton; her sister, Jane Lee McKin, Chattanooga, Tennessee; her nieces, Cindy Lee Sanders and husband Robert, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Andrea Woods and husband, Tennessee; her nephews, Robert Lee and wife Angela, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Christopher Rose, Chicago, Illinois, Roger Wayne Rose and wife, Miamisburg, Ohio; an aunt, and numerous cousins and friends.
