Barford E. "Brad" Huff

Birth date: August 3, 1925
Death date: September 26, 2008

Barford E. 'Brad' Huff, of Bethany, Oklahoma, passed away September 26, 2008. Brad was born August 3, 1925 to Clarence and Mary Huff in Atwood, Oklahoma.

Brad retired in 1964 from the Air Force and then was a teacher at Putnam City West for 16 years.

He was a member of Portland Avenue Baptist Church where he taught 3rd grade Sunday School for 35 years.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and two grandsons.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Barbara Huff; daughter Lynellen Sullivan, daughter Rhonda Boyce and husband Steve, son and wife Drs. John and Debbie Huff, son Dr. Gary Huff and wife Donna, daughter Ginna Bloom and husband David, and close family friend Walter Murphy. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to PABC Childrens Ministry or to cancer research.

Services will be held at Portland Avenue Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 30 at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at 2:00 p.m. at Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma.
