Erwin DC Stalcup

October 31, 1946 - January 23, 2019

Erwin D C Stalcup, Jr., of Moore, passed away January 23, 2019 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years.
DC was born October 31, 1946 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Norma Olene (Ray) Stalcup and Erwin DC "Dude" Stalcup, Sr. He was raised in Midwest City and is a High School graduate of Midwest City. He began his Tour of Duty in the United States Army October 11, 1967 and served until his discharge October 10, 1973. He soon thereafter earned his Certified Welder license as well as began a career as a Disc Jockey for various places around the Midwest City area including The Landing Zone, Sky Train, and Dr. Feel Good's. Moore has been his home for the past four years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin DC "Dude" and Norman Olene Stalcup; and one sister, Susan Shepard.
His surviving family include: his brother, Ronnie Stalcup of Pauls Valley; his stepson, Richard Burkhalter of Moore; and one special granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Jim Dehart. A private interment will be at the Ft. Sill National Cemetery located at Elgin near Lawton. Professional services and interment are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
