Was born July 12, 1944 in Wellington, TX to Huston Columbus and Rosa Agnes (Chambers) Carter. She passed away at her home in Cement, OK on July 29, 2017 at the age of 73.
In 1962, Melba met Vancie Lee Gibbins. When Vancie first saw Melba, he knew he was going to ask her to marry him. They were married on February 5, 1963 in Rosedale, CA.
