Garrett Todd Osborne

A life celebration for Todd Osborne, 41, of Ft. Worth, Texas will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2014, at Crossroads Baptist Church, 11423 NE 75th St. in Elgin, Oklahoma, with Pastor Curtis Erwin officiating.

Burial will follow at the Fletcher Cemetery under the direction of the Fletcher Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Fletcher Funeral Home.

Mr. Osborne passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014, at his home in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was 41 years old.

Todd was born to Joe W. and Betty [Nance] Osborne on May 25, 1972 in Lawton, Oklahoma.

He attended Wilson Elementary, Tomlinson Junior High, and graduated from Elgin High School in 1990.

His working career started with Maxey Crouch at Wilson Wholesale. He relocated to the Dallas area and worked for the AT&T Capital Corporation. Todd worked for Wells Fargo as a property manager for many years while also obtaining his real estate license. After receiving his license, Todd owned and operated Garrett Properties in the Ft. Worth area and eventually had several business ventures under his Garrett Collections, LLC. in the Stockyards.

Todd's greatest enjoyment was his family and entertaining his friends. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed all of God's creations. Todd was so blessed to have recently spent 6 weeks in Cabo and Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

Because of his personality, Todd acquired lifelong friends and never met a stranger and was often teased about running for office. He could put a smile on a little ole lady's face just by telling her she looked so nice.

Todd is survived by his father, Joe Osborne, of Ft. Worth, TX; his mother, Betty Osborne, of Fletcher; 2 brothers: Darren Osborne and his wife Sandie, of Batavia, OH and their 2 sons, David and Dustin and Toby Osborne, of Lawton and his 2 children, Brandon and Brittni; 1 sister in law, Teresia Osborne, of Lawton; lifelong friend, Todd Whatley; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Todd was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Jim and Violet Nance; his paternal grandparents: Joseph and Autherine Osborne; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38101-9908.

Joe W. Osborne

Funeral services for Joe Osborne, 73, of Ft. Worth, Texas will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2015, at Fletcher First Baptist Church, with Brother Rodney Campbell, officiating.

Burial will follow at the Fletcher Cemetery under the direction of the Fletcher Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Fletcher Funeral Home.

Mr. Osborne passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at his home in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was 73 years old.

Joe W. Osborne was born January 15, 1942 in El Paso, Texas to Joseph and Autherine [Pounds] Osborne.

He graduated from Lawton High School in 1960.

Joe served his country in the United States Air Force from 1961 until 1965.

After being honorably discharged, Joe returned home where he met and married Betty Nance. Together the two were blessed with three sons.

He attended Cameron College where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business in 1972. He worked for Gerald's IGA Grocery Store while going to college. He spent many years working as a self-employed painting contractor for their business, All Décor. In 1996, Joe and Betty relocated to San Antonio, Texas and he went to work for the Transportation Department of the Judson Independent School District.

After he retired in 2007, he moved to Ft. Worth, Texas to live near his youngest son.

He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching westerns and maintaining his property.

Joe was a wonderful dad, grandfather, and friend and will be dearly missed.

Joe is survived by his special friend and the mother of his children, Betty Osborne, of Fletcher; 2 sons: Darren Osborne and his wife Sandie, of Batavia, OH and their 2 sons, David Hildreth and Dustin Osborne and Toby Osborne and his wife Mandy, of Elgin and their 5 children, Brandon and Brittni Osborne and Tyler, Zebulun, and Sarah Wells; 1 brother, Danny Osborne of Okarche; 3 sisters: Mary Jane Hogard of Fletcher, Loretta Brewer and her husband David of Colorado, and Linda Sue Cook and her husband Dan of Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Autherine Osborne; 1 son, Todd Osborne, on April 14, 2014; and numerous aunts, uncles, and brother and sister in laws.
