Patricia Ruth [Dupler] Thomason-Barker


Birth date: June 28, 1942
Death date: March 10, 2014

CACHE Funeral for Patricia Ruth Thomason-Barker, 71, Cache, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cache School Auditorium.

Burial will follow at Cache Cemetery under direction of Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service.

She died peacefully at home, Monday, March 10, 2014.

Patricia was born June 28, 1942, in Lawton to Lawton and Lola Beville Dupler. Patricia was raised in Cache and attended the local schools.

Patricia was Super Mom; she was devoted to her children and was a second mom to most of her children's friends. She was a mother figure to young and old. She was a wonderful and selfless person, always putting others before herself. She enjoyed people and you could always find her visiting and talking with everyone. She will be missed by many.

She was baptized at the Church of Christ in Fort Worth, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawton and Lola Dupler; her first husband, Bud Thomason; son, Frankie Thomason; daughter, Lori Thomason; and brothers: Roy Dupler, Carl Dupler and Jerry Dupler.

Survivors include her husband Ronald, of the home; sons: Preston Thomason and wife Carrie, of Indiahoma; and Justin Thomason and wife Sasha, of Manhatten, Kan.; daughter-in-law, Vicki Thomason, of Ponder, Texas; grandchildren: Trace and Landree Thomason, of Indiahoma; Will Thomason, of Manhatten; Buddy Thomason and wife Rebecca, and Amanda Paulus and husband Troy, all of Krum, Texas; Casey Thomason and Cody Thomason, of Ponder, Texas; four great-grandchildren; brothers: Robert Dupler and wife Loretta, of Lawton; Glen Dupler and wife Judy, of Van Alstyne, Texas; Daniel Dupler and wife Wanda, of Fort Worth, Texas; and David Dupler and Dale Dupler, both of Cache; sisters: Betty Holloway, of Mesquite, Texas; Judy Johnson, of Fort Worth, Texas; and Nancy Roach-Beeson, of Cache. She also has numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
