Ronald Ray Sampley

March 06, 1941 - February 14, 2019

Ronald Ray Sampley was born March 6, 1941 to Bonnie Evans and Willie Sampley in Rush Springs, Oklahoma. He attended Rush Springs schools. He was a bricklayer for 62 years with several of his brothers. Ray married Patsy Louise Branum-Grooms on February 2, 1962. They were married for 57 years. She was the love of his life and the apple of his eye.
Ronald Ray Sampley passed away at home on Wednesday, February 14, 2019.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Dell Sampley-Dean; his twin brother, Roy and his siblings, Bob Sampley, Frank Sampley, Hershel Sampley, Vicki Sampley, Ricky Sampley, Sylvia Willoughby and Ethel Williams and his parents, Bonnie and Willie Sampley. Ray is survived by his wife, Patsy of Lawton; his 2 daughters Sandra Harr (Kyle Sutton) and Tammie Sampley both of Lawton; his grandchildren, Theresa Gonzales (David Harrrison) of Lawton, Joey Gonzales of West Plains, MO, Brandie Payne of Lawton, Micheal Payne of OKC, OK and Travis Moore of Cushing, OK; his greatgrandchildren, Elizabeth, Raela-kay and Brison; his brothers Billy Sampley and Derrall Sampley; his brother in law and sister in law Dale and Theresa Grooms and many nieces and nephews.
