Duane Allan Hugar

May 13, 1968 - October 30, 2004

Duane Allan Hugar, 35, of Anadarko, Oklahoma, entered to rest, Saturday, October 30, 2004, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was born May 13, 1968, to Charles and Rose (Hoag) Hugar, Sr., in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was married to Dasrlene Palmer, and they have three children together. Duane was a membwer of the Apache Reform Church in Apache, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his three sons, Daniel Hugar, of Oklahoma City, OK; Duane Hugar, of Anadarko, Ok; Mathew Hugar, of Anadarko, Ok; one daughter, Brandi Hugar, of Anadarko, OK; one grandson, Devin Hugar; his father, Charles Hugar, Sr. and stepmother, Betty Hugar, of Apache, OK; one sister, Elanor Hugar, of Anaadarko, OK.; three half-sisters, Carrie Jo Hoag, of Hugar, California, Lisa Espinoza and husband, Russell, of Lawton, OK, Lesley Tohay and husband, Tommy, of Apache; one brother, Charles C. Hugar, Jr., of Anadarko, OK; two half-brothers, Erick Hoag, of Anadarko, OK, and Justin Merit, of Virginia; two stepbrothers, Alan Waters, of Apache, and Gary Methvin, of Greenville, IL; two stepsisters, Cheryl Grawe, of Cartyell, IL, and Clarissa Woodrow, of Chickasha, OK; two foster sisters, Conie Architta and Clarissa Architta; grandmother, Iris Hoag, of Anadarko, OK; grandfather, Charles Elvis Hugar, of Musacalaro, NM; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Duane was preceded in death by his mother, paternal grandmother, Elenor Hugar, maternal grandfather, Robert Hoag, and one grandson, Kevin Hugar, two uncles, and one stepbrother.
Wake service will be at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2004, at the Smith-Hackney Funeral Home Chapel, Anadarko, OK. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2004, at the Ft. Sill-Apache Tribal Complex, Apache, OK. Officiating will be Rev. Milton Otis.
Burial will follow in the Fort Sill-Apache Cemetery, Fort Sill, OK under the direction of Smith-Hackney Funeral Home, Anadarko, OK.
