Services for Marguerite "Margie" Joan Rush, 92, Tupelo were at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Tupelo Church of Christ with Wendell Ingram and Allen Brottt officiating. Burial was at Wilson Cemetery near Clarita with Criswell Funeral Home of Ada in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Rush was born May 2, 1917 in Illinois to Mike and Elizabeth Novak and passed away October 10, 2009 at an Ada hospital. She graduated from high school in St. Louis, MO and attended college. She was employed processing produce in Salinas, CA. On July 17, 1942 she married Edgar Rush adn they moved to Tupelo in May 1974. Mrs. Rush was affilated with the Tupelo Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband Edgar of Tupelo; one son, Edgar Michael "Mike" Rush and wife Lynda, Sheldon, MO; one granddaughter, Janie Williams and husband Johnny, Sheldon, MO; one great granddaughter, Courtney Williams, and one great grandson, Michael.
