Funeral services for Dave Odell Roebuck, a longtime resident of Coal County, were held Monday, August 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Rev.Bob Graham officiating. Burial was in Riley Cemetery with arrangements under the directions of Brown's Funeral Service of Coalgate.

Mr. Roebuck was born March 5, 1954 in Coalgate to James & Dorothy Roebuck & passed away July 30, 2009 in Boley, OK at the age 55. He attended Olney high School.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Roebuck; children, Christopher Roebuck, James D. Roebuck, and Chayse Roebuck; grandchildren, Ryan Roebuck, Ely Roebuck, Ethan Roebuck, Magen Roebuck, Lari Dewberry Roebuck, Kristen Roebuck, and Janice Roebuck; brothers, Billy Roebuck and wife Peggy and William Roebuck; sisters, Kathy Dutton and husband Ernie, Jo Ella Perkins, Hiwania Davis and husband Frank and Janell Blackmon; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends; foster sister, Tanya Taylor; foster brother Christopher Breger; along with many other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Roebuck and one son, Tommy Roebuck.

Casketbearers were Ernie Dutton, Darrell Vick, Richard "Chief" Roebuck, Joel Vick, Eddie Roebuck, and Bill Roebuck
