Edith Arlene Smith, Sissy to her family, was born on June 18th, 1949 to James Logan Jr. and Betty Jane Logan in Hamilton, Ohio. She had four sisters. They were called The Logan Sisters. On October 2, 1982 she married Howard Roger Smith, the love of her life. They had one child together. She then went on to work as a teacher's assistant at Cottonwood Schools for many years. Edith was always kind to everyone she met. She loved when her grandkids came to spend their breaks with their grandparents. Above all, she loved God most. Edith was a member of The Nazarene Church of Coalgate, Oklahoma for many years. She graduated from college in 2000 as a Juvenile Justice worker.
She is survived by her daughter Jessica and husband George Riter of the home, grandchildren, Anthony and Jasmin Riter of the home, Zoe and husband Alexander Miller and great granddaughter, Ella Miller of Coalgate, OK; sisters, Shirley Greenfield and husband Dewight of Shawnee, OK, Jennifer Murray and husband Tommy of Mustang, OK, Nancy Cohin and husband Bill of Ada, OK.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Smith; parents, Betty Jane Perrier and James Logan Jr.; sister, Wanda Davidson, and nephew, Nicolase Bright.
