Neely-Ranck, Marilyn Ann, 79, of Norman, OK passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 with her family by her side. 

Marilyn was born on September 21, 1937 in Tulsa, OK to Argo and Leta Ansolea Hawkins.  Marilyn lived in Tulsa and moved to Casper, Wyoming where she graduated from Natrona County High School.  After high school, Marilyn earned an Associate’s degree at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri before completing her Bachelor’s degree at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.  Marilyn won Miss Wyoming in 1957 and traveled to Long Beach, California with the Miss Universe Pageant.  Marilyn moved to Norman in 1965 and was a faithful member of McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church.  Marilyn met Bob, the love of her life, and they married in 1993.  She worked in several departments at the University of Oklahoma over the course of 18 years, ultimately retiring as a Library Technician in 1999.  Marilyn loved working outside with her flowers, decorating her home and spending time with friends and family planning and hosting many special occasions. 

Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Robert Ranck; Four Daughters: Suzanne Leeviraphan and husband Eric of Norman, OK; Kathy Huston of Norman, OK; Lisa Rapp and husband, Chris of Phoenix, AZ and Jenny Brosius and husband, David of Oklahoma City, OK; Nine Grandchildren:  Austin, Katey and Connor Leeviraphan, Elise and Alex Huston, Teagen and Tenley Rapp, Hollie James and Elizabeth Brosius. 

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents. 

Family will be receiving friends on Thursday, October, 6th at Havenbrook Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 p.m.  Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 7th at 10:00 am at McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery
