Lori Ann Piner (Bruce), lifelong resident of Norman, passed away November 9 at the age of 54.

She was born in Norman on June 21, 1961 to Benny and Donna Bruce and she attended Norman Schools.  For the last 20 years, she was a homemaker.  Lori was an artist and enjoyed sketching, painting, and jewelry making.  She also enjoyed music, movies, and studying her Bible.  Lori was a generous person and had a heart for all animals.

Lori married Charles Edward “Eddie” Piner August 14, 1992 in Casper, WY and they made their home in North Carolina and later returned to Norman.  They were true companions and had a special love and devotion to one another.

Lori was preceded in death by her parents and several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her husband Eddie of the home, and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Don Harp and Sandy and Rex Brown, all of Norman; uncle Ronnie Bruce of Manchaca, Texas; aunt Ella Jeffries of Monterey, California and several cousins.

The greatest testament of her life is her steadfast faith in God and her dedication to His Word daily.  One cannot have a conversation with her without also hearing a scripture or how God had blessed her life.  Psalm 16:5-7 is the embodiment of her walk with God.
She was a sweet spirit and will be greatly missed.

A private family memorial will be held to honor her life.
