Karen G. Morrison, 74, lifetime resident of Norman, passed away from and extended illness on August 10, 2016. 

Karen was born October 12, 1941 in Norman to Edward and Madeleine Ingle (Cobble) Walker.  She graduated from Norman High School class of 1959. She married Hank Morrison on October 18, 1963 at Immanuel Baptist Church and they spent 52 wonderful years together.  She enjoyed taking care of others, and retired of 43 years as a registered nurse from Griffin Memorial Hospital. She was a ward RN nurse supervisor for the alcoholic unit.   She was also the employee health nurse for the over 700 employees for her 43 years.  

Karen was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Dolores Bushyhead and Jerelyn Germeo. 

She is survived by her husband, Horace “Hank” Morrison of Norman, son Jeff Morrison, and granddog Brandi of Oklahoma City.

Visitation will be 12pm till 8pm Sunday August 14th at Havenbrook Funeral Home. 
Services to celebrate her life will be 10am Monday, August 15, 2016 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1777 E. Robinson in Norman.

Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.  

Flowers may be sent or donations be made to the Immanuel Baptist Church Building Fund.
