Bobby Kenneth "BK" Morrison

Morrison, Bobby “BK”, 73, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012, in Norman, Oklahoma. 

He was born June 9, 1938, in Norman to Robert and Bessie (Johnson) Morrison.  BK married Virginia Lee Richardson in 1957, and together they had four children: Kenny, Lisa, Kelly and Shelly.  Later he was united in marriage to Jeannie Walker and together with her daughters, Angie and Dena, became a family. 

BK was the owner and operator of Ole Blues Night Club in Norman for over 30 years.  He loved spending time with his family at the lake camping, fishing, boating and teaching them to water ski.  One of BK's favorite things was playing Santa Claus every Christmas.  He and Virginia enjoyed bowling and were  in  leagues together.  He and Jeannie loved to fish at Lake Texhoma.  BK's family will remember his entrepreneurial spirit and his love for cooking.

BK is survived by one son, Reverend Kenny Morrison and wife, Lisa, of Ada, OK; five daughters, Lisa Hernandez, and husband, Whitey, of Houston, TX;  Kelly Conner and husband, Tim, of Sulphur, OK; Shelly Hacker and husband, Randy, of Wilson, OK; Angie Candelaria and husband, Lawrence, of Norman; Dena Charles and husband, Robert, of Norman; one brother, Larry Morrison and wife, Anita, of Moore; one sister, Louise Harper and husband, Reverend Daniel, of Noble, OK; 19 grandchildren: Lisa Rae, Jenny, Brandon, Kenny, Taylor, Ashlyn, Misty, Dusty, Shelby, Michael, Ross, Troy, Jerry, Cody, Logan, Kyle, Joey, Travis and Brandon; 16 great grandchildren; his two chihuahua dogs, Espy and Chica; and a host of other family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jeannie Morrison and his parents.

Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2012, and 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 8, 2012, with the family greeting friends from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at Havenbrook Funeral Home.

Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 9, 2012, in the Chapel of the Havenbrook Funeral Home with interment following in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.  Arrangements for BK and his family were placed in the care of the Vice Family at Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
