Ingram, Bertha Mae, 78, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 in Norman, Oklahoma. 

She was born September 2, 1933 in Lexington, Oklahoma to James and Mary (Murphy) Eastep.  She graduated from Noble High School in 1952.  She met and fell in love with Bobby Ingram while working at W. F. Woolworth Department store in Norman.  They were united in marriage at the Immanuel Baptist Church on April 4, 1952.

Bertha cleaned homes for 38 years before retiring in 2008.  She and Bobby enjoyed taking cruises, camping and hosting family dinners.  She was an excellent cook and her specialities were chocolate chip cookies, chocolate sheet cake and Christmas candies.   She and Bobby were faithful members of Bethel Baptist Church since 1964.

Bertha is survived by her husband, Bobby Ingram of the home; sons, Dennis Ingram and wife Liz of Bixby, OK, David Ingram and wife Carolyn of Hot Springs, AR, and Bruce Ingram and wife Valerie of Norman; daughter, Melinda Goddard and husband Ralph of Palm Harbor, FL; grandchildren, Michael and Jill Phillips of Marshfield, MO, Tom and Amber Prescott of Ashburn, VA, Robin Rougier and Jacob Rosecrants of Norman, Angela Goddard of Astoria, NY, Chris Goddard of Denver, CO, Austin and Callie Ingram of Tulsa, OK, Courtney Ingram of Norman, Mitchell and Chelsea Ingram of Broken Arrow, OK, Josh Ingram of Norman, Patrick Ingram of Hot Springs, AR, Andrew and Christina Bonds of Fayetteville, AR, Kendal and Audra Osborne of Bixby, OK and Meridith Ingram of Bixby, OK; great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Madison Phillips of Marshfield, MO, Aaron and Cadence Bonds of Fayetteville, AR, Isabella and Jonah Rosecrants of Norman and Ryan and Sarah Kate Prescott of Ashburn, VA. 

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund, 1717 W. Lindsey, Norman, OK 73069.

Visitation will be held 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2012 with the family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Havenbrook Funeral Home. 

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Bethel Baptist Church.  Arrangements for Bertha and her family were placed in the care of the Vice Family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
