Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Frances Hodgson, age 90, of Norman will begin at 10:00 am Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in The Chapel at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 2301 East Indian Hills Road in Norman with Reverend Harriette Leigh officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook Street in Norman.

Mary was born February 16, 1923 in Sayre, Oklahoma the daughter of David Harold and Ruby Lucille (Young) Taylor.  She passed away Friday afternoon, March 29, 2013 at the Norman Regional Hospital.    
Mary was raised and attended schools in Sayre, Oklahoma graduating from Sayre High School in 1941.  She continued her education, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1957 and a Master’s Degree in social work in 1959 both from the University of Oklahoma.  She was united in marriage to Mr. Cloud Hodgson on January 23, 1963 in Midland, Texas.  He preceded her in death on March 17, 1973.
Mary was employed with Sunbeam Family Services as a social worker for several years.  She was also a longtime member of the McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church of Norman. 

In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her two sons, Rory Hodgson in 2005 and O’Brien Hodgson in 1995; one brother, Ural Taylor; and two sisters, Ruby June Taylor and Dorothy Taylor.

Mary is survived by five grandchildren; Will Hodgson of Norman, Seth Hodgson of Norman, Elizabeth Anne Hodgson of Norman, Lars Dylan Taylor Hodgson of Houston, Texas and Molly Cook of Mustang, ; five great grandchildren; Elizabeth Kay Hodgson of Houston, Texas, Lars Dylan Taylor Hodgson II, of Houston, Texas, Sydney Little of Mustang, Brett Little of Mustang, and Aidan Cook of Mustang.

Burial will conclude in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Norman. 
 
Arrangements for Mary and her family were placed in the care of the Vice family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
