Loy Ringold Bozarth

Loy Ringold Bozarth passed away Thursday June 8, 2017. He was born October 28, 1933 to George Ringold and Cora Emma Bozarth in Chickasha, Oklahoma, where he attended Friends School.
 
He proudly served eleven years in the United States Army. He loved this country and would still defend it today. He served state side and overseas as a medic. Later, he worked for Reedy Tank out of Chickasha. They built silos for grain and other products across the United States. After tiring of all the traveling he went to work for Dolese in OKC, building their plants across Oklahoma. In 1985, he started his own business, “Bozarth Services”. After retiring from that he went to work at the Veteran Center in Norman and worked there for another twelve years.
 
Loy is preceded in death by four sisters, three brothers, and three children: George Olin, Brandon Blake, and Lori Ann.

He is survived by his wife Judi Bozarth, they just celebrated their 40th anniversary. He is also survived by his children: Tony Maxwell, Carla Bozarth, Randy Bozarth, Rene Dunn, Loy Bozarth, Troy Bozarth, and Kimberly Kirby, as well as sixteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren.
 

Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman, OK.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
