Rosa Roegiers-Claus, 91, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 in Norman, Oklahoma.  She was born July 16, 1920 in Kortrijk, Belgium to Maurice and Josepha (Dieperinck) Claus. 

Rosa was married in 1941 to Henri Roegiers and he preceded her in death on January 7, 2007.

Rosa and her family moved from Belgium to Norman, Oklahoma in December of 2006.

Rosa is survived by her son, Jean-Claude Roegiers and wife Jeanne Biémar of Norman; four grandchildren, Natasha Roegiers and husband Joseph Barrett, Sebastien Roegiers and wife Carri Stevenson, Emmanuelle Roegiers and husband Todd Wilhelm and Joshua Roegiers and wife Kate Gibson; ten great grandchildren, Isabella, Chloé, Eva Maria, Gabrielle Barrett, Brecken, Sawyer, Harper Roegiers, and Jacob, Annalysia, Lucas Wilhelm; sister-in-law, Marie-Louise Claus; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henri Roegiers; seven brothers; and eight sisters.

Rosary services will be held 6:00 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2012 in the Chapel of the Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 24, 2012 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 100 E. Stinson, Norman with interment following in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.  Arrangements for Rosa and her family were placed in the care of the Vice Family at Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
