William "Bill" Fenton "Dutch" DeCordova

William (Bill) Fenton deCordova, (87), died Monday, Feb. 25, 2002 at Midwest City.

He was born June 9, 1914 in Tishomingo , OK to Leo and Ella deCordova. Bill attended Central High School, Oklahoma City, and graduated from there in 1934. He worked at Douglas Aircraft during WW II and was a civil servant at Tinker Air Force Base where he retired in 1975. He married Lois Aline Sumter Sept. 16, 1934 in Winfield, KS. They met at a church party while in high school. Their son, Kenneth E., was born June 28, 1935. Bill was vice-president of the Oklahoma City Amateur Golf Association in the late 1940s. He was a staunch supporter of OU Football and a long-time member of Country Estates Baptist Church in Midwest City.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Bill is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ken & Fran, Midwest City; grandson, Carl, Midwest City; and granddaughter Karen, Midwest City; brother and sister-in-law Kenneth F. and Clara deCordova, OKC,  many nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be held Thursday, 10 a.m. at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home , Del City.

Burial Immediately following at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, OKC. Bill Eisenhour Southeast 5005 S.E. 29672-1321
