Candice Brooke Van Etten "Dukka", passed from this life far too soon at the age of 25. She was born April 30, 1994 in Oklahoma City to Robert Charles Van Etten and Tammy Ann Van Etten (Karr).

Candice attended Southmoore High School and earned a diploma in 2013. She worked at the Bamboo Room and enjoyed spending time with the many friends she made during her time there. Candice's passion was poetry and she spent most of her free time writing. In addition, she had a fascination in anything that was alien or ghost related. Our Dukka was a bright shining light in so many lives. She had the heart of a servant and took care of everyone around her. To know Candice was to love her, and she will truly be missed forever by the numerous lives she touched.

She was preceded in passing by her grandparents, Robert Charles Van Etten, Sr., Ruth Ann Evelyn Sherman, and David Joe Karr; and sister, Christie Van Etten.

Those left to continue her legacy include her parents, Robert Charles Van Etten and Tammy Ann Van Etten (Karr); nanny, Judy McMurrian; brothers, Bobby Van Etten and wife Courtney and Cameron Van Etten; niece, Madison Van Etten; nephews, Dallas Van Etten and Owen Van Etten; and her loving boyfriend, Adam Morgan. Candice is also survived by a host of many loving friends and extended family who will all miss her dearly.

Visitation is 4:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, January 2, 2019 at Resthaven Funeral Home, 500 S.W. 104th St. Oklahoma City, OK 73139.

Services to celebrate our Dukka’s life will take place at 2:00pm, Friday, January 3, 2019 at Shekinah Fellowship Church, 412 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73139. Condolences may be shared at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memory Gardens
