Earl W. Stephens

Funeral services for Earl Stephens were held at 2 pm Tuesday December 22, 1998 at John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel in Moore. Burial followed in Resthaven Memory Gardens under direction of John M. Ireland Chapel.

Earl was born to Nora and Henry Stephens on April 2, 1921 in Caddo Oklahoma and passed from this life December 19, 1998. He was married to Margaret E. Davis in 1946.

He served in the Army during WWll and in Korea and the Philippines. Earl was a member of the VFW 7192 as a Master Sergeant. He also retired from the local Carpenters Union # 329 after 30 years of service.

Preceding him in death were his wife earlier this year, his parents and a sister Alfie Jones and grandson Damon James. He is survived by 3 daughters, 2 sons, 19 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

During his long illness he fought a hard battle and will be greatly missed.
